AMA's for 2009 definitely were exciting to some extent. Jay Z is just a boss, that's all I have to say. I respect him and what he has done with his career.
On the other hand, I am totally let down by Adam Lambert, either his management is stupid or he made a really bad move. We all know that that "kiss" was totally fake and staged just so people like myself would talk about it. For that reason, I do NOT like it. If you are gay and like kissing men, that's all fine and dandy. If you are straight and like kissing women that's all fine and dandy. Just don't do it on stage during a worldwide performance JUST to be talked about and sell records. On the other hand, I guess that shows what our industry has come to...
Look at Lady GaGa, she is obviously wild and flamboyant but she SELLS records. So I guess you HAVE to be wild and flamboyant to sell records nowadays...I wish it was just about the music.
