NEW MUSIC TUESDAY! (Britney Spears, Tiesto, & More)

Find reviews for music that is released every tuesday by yours truly!

First off...

Britney Spears releases "3" on iTunes. This is definitely another track showcasing the new era of pop music with Britney Spears setting the standard. I think Britney fans will be happy with this one. Its definitely on that happy club vibe. Here is a link to the song:

Tiesto has an album out that is really really dope. The music industry as a whole is going more and more in the direction of mainstreaming techno/dance/electronica music and this album will help that movement. This album features many different styles of dance and electro so be prepared to speed up and slow down. All the songs feature amazing synths and drums. I am expecting many of the songs to be in commercials and movies so be on the lookout for that. Right now my favorite track is featuring the lovely C.C. Sheffield entitled "Escape Me". Her voice is perfect for the track and the track as a whole is sooooo dope! Go listen to the whole album on his myspace:

Backstreet Boys have a new album. Defintely not impressed but I guess that won't stop the loyal fans. Its not terrible but at the same time I feel like they kept the same 1990's sound and tried to change it a litte but failed. Find their album at their myspace:

Tokio Hotel are definitely a weird bunch. However they came with a cd that is pretty solid and its a combo of a few different genres of music. They list their album as Pop but it touches on Rock, Alternative, and Electronica. They have a hit record in "automatic". Find their album here:

Lights is a new pop artist with her debut album. I like her style, its very different. I really like her song "Saviour". I wouldn't say her album as a whole is amazing but its definitely cool. She plays most of the instruments on the album so props on that! A little too cheap pop on the production side but nonetheless she does a good job. I think with different production she could take her career far. Find her album here:

T.I. released a single "Hell of a Life". I am a T.I. fan on some of his tunes but this one sounds too similar to "Livin the Life". I actually hummed the lyrics to that and they paralled. Find that song and video here:

For now, that is all I am reporting about. Definitely look forward to listening to more of the albums that came out today and seeing what they are all about. For now I think you have a good grasp for what albums and singles will be the most talked about this Tuesday.

All the Best and Success
